The Schroeder family have braved the elements in Argentina’s extreme Patagonia region since 1927. And every year, they win 90+ point scores and gold medals galore for making wines “reminiscent of top-quality Bordeaux … that Master Sommeliers should love” (The Wine Advocate). More importantly (to us, at least), the family’s wines earn rave reviews and thousands of Favorite clicks from our customers. So, naturally, we were thrilled when they offered to make this Reserve Pinot Noir exclusively for you.
What makes their Reserve so special? Winemaker Leonardo Puppato hand selected the finest parcels of Pinot Noir from the estate’s best vineyards. Back in the state-of-the-art winery, he treated a portion of the wine to nine months’ aging in top-of-the-line French and American oak barrels. The care and quality lavished on this Reserve Pinot Noir resulted in a wine of serious elegance and finesse.
Showing a lovely ruby color in the glass, it bursts with ripe raspberry, strawberry, black cherry, and subtle spice aromas. The well balanced palate offers more spicy, red-berry flavors, plus velvety tannins and a long, complex finish. Like all fine Pinot Noir, this Reserve is incredibly food-friendly and will shine with crispy duck, oven-roasted turkey, and more.
Another hallmark of the Schroeders’ Reserve? It’s made in very tiny batches to ensure top quality. Secure your share while our limited cases last.
