From the pioneering RedHeads Studio, this exclusive, single-vineyard Chardonnay arrives with a great story.
Back in 2004, a small band of Australian winemakers—with day jobs at some of the country’s biggest, most prestigious wineries—set up a shed where they could moonlight after hours. Free from the demands of quantity-focused shareholders, they could handcraft the wines they wanted to make, in tiny batches. And the acclaim soon followed...
“Must be tasted to be believed,” said top critic Robert Parker of Viottolo Sentiero, one of the very first RedHeads wines. “A taste of the product indicates that this operation is as serious as a heart attack,” raved Master of Wine Jancis Robinson.
These days, RedHeads wines sell for upwards of $75 a bottle and have earned over 200 gold medals and eight major trophies. They’ve also won a prestigious commendation at the 2020 Drinks Business Green Awards for their commitment to renewable energy and sustainability. Just wait until you taste this elegant Chardonnay, which scored a gold medal at the Catavinum World Wine & Spirits Competition and has been rated 94 points by Winestate magazine.
The RedHeads sourced the Chardonnay for Harmonie Rox from local grower Jack Bursten and his renowned vineyard in the premium Coonawarra region. Fermented in part new French oak, it has a deliciously creamy/spicy complexity, balanced by vibrant stone fruit and citrus flavors. Definitely the bottle to pour when grilled chicken, roasted turkey or creamy soups are on the menu.
