Out of the hundreds of châteaux in Saint-Émilion, only four earned the highest official classification: Premier Grand Cru Classé A. They are Angelus, Ausone, Cheval Blanc and Pavie. Réserve du Charme 2019 hails from one of these elite estates, but of course, we can’t say which. A classic marriage of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, it was patiently aged in fine oak barrels. Look forward to seductively rich blackberry and strawberry flavors, with structured tannins and a lengthy, vibrant finish. Although it’s drinking beautifully now, this Réserve will continue to develop complexity for years to come.
