The Kapiniaris family estate lies in Lodi, “one of the top wine regions in the country,” where winemakers “have quietly started producing some of the state’s best wines” (vinepair.com). The region’s warm sunny days and cool morning fog help extend grapes’ ‘hang time’ on the vine, which allows the fruit to develop ripe, fresh, and concentrated flavors.
