Inside Track Limited Release Semillon 2017

Being an insider is a good thing – especially in the world of wine, where high quality and in-demand names (like Napa Valley, for instance) drive prices sky high.

Luckily, as our customer, you have the same “Inside Track” as our California expert (and Master of Wine candidate) Clare Tooley. Her connections across Napa in particular are extensive. So we weren’t surprised when she uncovered this ‘Limited Release’ Sémillon from a highly acclaimed estate in the premiumRutherford district.

Clare’s worked with them for years, so they gave her a friends-only price on their fine Sémillon – in exchange for complete anonymity (their regular customers pay much more than you).

You’re in for textbook Sémillon: supremely elegant and creamy, with complex floral/nutty aromas and rich, dried-fruit flavor. Will pair fantastically with richer seafood meals (try scallops over Parmesan risotto!) or roasted white meats such as pork or turkey.
