This gorgeous example hails from the pioneering McCormack family. Located in the premium Clarksburg region, their vineyards are the perfect spot for growing Cortese. The vines bask in brilliant sunshine and cooling breezes that produce beautifully ripe, fresh grapes – especially in a stellar vintage like 2018.

After selecting the best parcels, the McCormack team took the grapes back to their winery, Barengo. Founded in 1935, it was one of the first and only family-owned wineries in the area. (Fun fact: the legendary Cesare Mondavi was once the president of Barengo.)
